The Final Season

Hello Oddfellow Theater Fans, at the writing of this newsletter my wife Kim and I have made the tough decision to end our tenure at the Oddfellow Theater. As most of you know we have been working on the building or producing shows since 1997 and for us it is time to move on to the next chapter of our lives.

The Oddfellow Theater has been a labor of love for us and together with some of the greatest performers in Maine and the country we have produced the best shows of my life. We have created so many memorable characters and sketches and have welcomed in a wonderful array of individual artists, performing groups and bands.

We have also had the privilege of being a part of the launching of amazing artists careers, such as Grammy winning Ray LaMontagne and Emmy nominated EepyBird.

The exciting part for us is that we will be continuing to create new material and shows as well as an Early Evening Show tour that you will be able to come see. We will be announcing those dates and performances through this newsletter so we hope you stay on our list.

Listed below is our final, abbreviated, season. We have chosen some of our favorites and we hope yours too. We will be pulling from a wide variety of guests for these final shows and we will announce who and when as soon as details are finalized.

Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday August 31st.

Thank you all for being part of this incredible journey. We hope you will be stopping by to laugh, sing and cry a little with us as we say goodbye.

Sincerely,

Michael R. Miclon

Bah Hoonchbach-A Very Odd Christmas Carol
December 15, 16, 17 & 18 at 7:30 PM
and 2:00 PM matinee on December 17th

A timeless Buckfield classic returns for it's sixth year. Moto Hoonchbach, Fritz Grobe, Jason Tardy, Casey Turner, George Dunn and more return for this annual comedic retelling of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Every show is different and every year has new surprises! Bates College Theater Director Paul Kuritz said of the show "This was quite simply the most entertaining and moving Christmas Carol I have ever seen on stage. (And my wife and son agree.) In fact, I haven't seen anything as funny and moving as Miclon's Dickens classic since I saw Charles Ludlam's Camille in New York."

The Oddfellow Theater's version of A Christmas Carol includes the same great story mixed with hilarious improvisations, audience participation and just the right touch of sweetness to make for the perfect holiday performance. This show is great for all ages.

Tickets are $15.00 for Adults, $12 for Seniors & $10 for children 12 & under.

Matinee tickets are $12 for Adults, $10 for Seniors & $8 for children 12 & under.
