This will be a special edition Early Evening Show! ALL proceeds are to benefit a project to help young mothers and newborns in India.
Every year in Northern India, thousands of babies die simply because their mothers lack basic health and nutritional information. In March 2008, we will travel to Broadwell Christian Hospital in Fatehpur India to shoot, edit and produce a DVD that contains this lifesaving information. As mothers come to give birth at the hospital, they will also be equipped with this crucial information in a culturally relevant way. This project has the potential to benefit up to 20 hospitals in northern India. Many young lives can be saved.
The cost of the project is $50,000. We are seeking to raise $10,000. This will cover our airfare, equipment, room and board and the TVs need in each hospital.
